Resort Bike Tour
Learn the essential skills of mountain biking on this guided tour around 25km of our specially designed resort mountain bike trails bordering the Kosciuszko National Park. Lesson includes bike hire, helmet and basic cross country riding instruction. Our trails are suitable for both beginners and experienced riders keen to get out into the fresh mountain air in the most picturesque of settings.

Kosciuszko Bike Tour
This is Australia’s highest ride starting near the quaint alpine village of Charlotte Pass. The tour will take riders up the Summit Road to Rawson’s Pass in preparation for the short hike to Mt Kosciuszko via an established trail. This 18km round trip is best suited for moderate riders with good general fitness.

Fly Fishing Lesson
Become a casting expert with a fly fishing lesson on beautiful Lake Crackenback. Our experienced instructor from Steve Williamson Fishing Adventures will provide tuition on the finer points of casting, using and placing a lure aswell as lake and stream fishing techniques. Lesson includes fly rod and equipment hire, held in our trout packed lake.

Kayak Skills
This exciting skills course on Lake Crackenback includes equipment hire, life jacket and instruction on basic skills. This lesson will prepare you for the myriad of waterways throughout the resort and a chance to experience the panoramic views of the Thredbo Valley from an entirely different perspective.

Spotlight Guided Walk
1 hour guided night walk around the grounds of Lake Crackenback Resort including torch hire. With so much of our native wildlife active after dark, a guided night tour is the best way to view them in their natural habitat. This tour is a combination of spotlighting for nocturnal animals, learning about their environment and enjoying the wonders of the bush at night. Just some of the animals that may be found include wombats, eastern grey kangaroos, red-neck wallabies, brush tail possums and short beaked echidnas. Advanced bookings are necessary for this walk.

Self Guided Walks & Rides
With the stunning location of the resort’s many walking trails, feel free to explore the natural surrounds and bordering national park on a self guided day walk or ride. Maps and bike hire are available from our activities centre for a small fee.
