RESORT FACILITIES
To tempt you to leave the comfort of Lake Crackenback Resort's luxury apartments and chalets, we offer a huge range of activities. We've thought of everything... there's a general store, ski and sport equipment hire, and a courtesy bus to and from the Skitube Alpine Rail Way (during winter).
When you're ready to relax, enjoy the friendly atmosphere at our Bar and Restaurant, 'Cuisine on Lake Crackenback' on the Resort's lakefront. Or start the new day with a sumptuous buffet breakfast.
- Baby-sitting - If you require a babysitting service please contact reception. A minimum 24 hours notice is required and a three hour minimum booking. There is a charge to be confirmed by reception upon booking. Late cancellations incur a fee.
- Banqueting, meeting and conference facilities - We have a range of meeting rooms available from 8 to 80 delegates. See our conferences section for more information.
- Bar - Join us in Cuisine Bar for our famous mountain cocktails, try our selection of Schnapps, Cognacs, Liqueurs, Beers and Wines from around the world. Relax and enjoy the tranquil views of Lake Crackenback and the surrounding mountains.
- Barbeque - There are gas fired barbecues on the resort, some have shelter provided. Please see the resort activity map for their location. Barbecue packs are available to order from the restaurant. These packs are set out in the Picnic and BBQ section of the compendium.
- Breakfast - A Country Buffet Breakfast is served in Cuisine on Lake Crackenback Restaurant.
- All year round: 7:00am - 10:00am - Crackers Coffee Shop - Relax and unwind in Crackers Coffee Shop; serving barista style coffees, tea, hot chocolate and sweet indulgences.
- Summer Hours: 7:00am - 7:00pm
- Winter Hours: 7:00am - 9:00pm - Car parking - One complimentary undercover parking space is available for each lakeside apartment.
- Convenience Store - A selection of groceries are available from the resort's convenience store, located in the reception complex. Open 7 days.
- Summer Hours: 7:00 am - 7:00 pm
- Winter Hours: 7:00 am - 9:00 pm - Currency conversion - We can exchange most currencies up to $100 AUD. One business days notice is required. For exchange rates please contact Reception.
- Internet facilities - Internet facilities are available at the Resort's Cafe. You can purchase Internet Cards from the Resort's Convenience Store and access the computer during store hours. If you have a personal computer that you wish to use in the room, you need to use the phone line. Telstra WiFi is available in the Reception Complex, Restaurant and both Conference Rooms.
- Gift shop - A selection of,gifts, souvenirs, books on the local area, casual clothing and swim wear and other merchandise are sold in our gift shop located in the convenience store. Open 7 days.
- Summer Hours: 7:00 am - 7:00 pm
- Winter Hours: 7:00 am - 9:00 pm - Kids Club - The kids club runs from 6:30pm to 9:00pm including dinner, plaster pot painting and a movie. Kids club runs on certain evenings, bookings are essential please contact the activities desk for more information.
- Luggage storage - Luggage can be stored in Reception in summer and winter. Please contact Reception for assistance.
- Mail and message - Guest mail service is provided by Reception. A nominal fee is charged for secretarial services.
